Sudbury Valley Trustees exhibit and reception Nov 8
The Sudbury Valley Nature Photographers, in collaboration with the Sudbury Valley Trustees, will present an exhibition of nature photographs by ten members from Nov. 2-30 in the Raytheon Room of the Wayland Public Library, 5 Concord Road, Wayland. The exhibit will be open during normal library hours, except when there is a scheduled event taking place in the meeting room.
The exhibit is inspired in part by SVT’s book and trail guide, “40 Walks West of Boston.” Photographs in the show were created on the SVT properties and adjacent local, state and national conservation lands which appear in the book.
SVNP members participating are Sue Abrahamsen, Terri Ackerman, Hendrik Broekman, Joan Chasan, Steve Gabeler, Wayne Hall, Betsy Moyer, Barbara Peskin, Anne Umphrey and Carol Walsh.
A “Meet the Artists” reception is set for 2:30-4:30 p.m. Nov. 8. Beginning at 3:30 p.m., several photographers will give brief, informal gallery talks about their works on display. For more information, contact Wayne Hall, exhibit curator: email@example.com. For directions and library hours: waylandlibrary.org.
